Yes! We welcome visitors from Canada, Australia, the UK, Japan, and beyond. Hawaii accepts valid foreign licenses. If yours isn’t in English (like a Japanese license), bring an International Driving Permit or an official English translation along with it.
The right side, same as the US mainland, and speed limits are posted in miles per hour. Visiting from the UK, Australia, or Japan? Take the first few miles easy and you’ll adjust quickly.
